RMB Corvest initially funded Zico Capital (a specialised, independent provider of corporate finance and capital markets advisory for private and public-listed companies), to acquire 20% of the Provest Group (a South African mining support services business). Through a series of follow-on investments, Zico Capital increased its shareholding to 44% and in the process gave Provest BEE ownership status
