Brendan studied at Wits University and completed his BCom Accounting (Hons) in 2006.  He thereafter joined KPMG in the financial services division where he completed his articles and qualified as a Chartered Accountant CA (SA).

Post articles Brendan moved internally within KPMG to the Financial Risk Management advisory division before moving to the Nedbank Specialised Finance team, where he spent two years working in debt capital markets.  It was during his tenure at Nedbank that Brendan had the opportunity to work with RMB Corvest on several transactions, before ultimately being offered the opportunity to join the RMB Corvest team in 2012.

Brendan has been involved in and led numerous notable private equity transactions during this time.  Some of these include: the Sectional Poles; Fournos Bakery; Accessories Spares Centre; Universal Industries and Switch Energy Drinks.

Brendan is married and has a boy and a baby girl.
